Caixa Diferente - A different box

Ontem fui passar a tarde com minha amiga e colega de artes, Solange Maranhão. Ela é expert em caixas. Tivemos uma tarde maravilhosa. Esta foi a caixa que aprendí com ela. O revestimento é todo em tecido. Não ficou linda?



Yesterday I spent the afternoon with a friend and craft coleague - Solange Maranhão. She is a master on doing boxes. We had a great time together and I learned this marvelous box with her. Is a wood box overlaid with fabric. Don't you think it is gorgeous?

O tempo voa. Time flyes

Janeiro se foi e a primeira semana de fevereiro também.... difícil de acreditar.
Esta semana estive envolvida com algumas atividades pessoais. Não fiz muita coisa artesanal...
Fiz este cartão usando apenas tons de azul. Espero que gostem.

January is gone and so the first week of February. Hard to believe.
The past week I was involved with some personal activities. No much crafting.
I made this card in shades of blue. Hope you like it.

Cartão diferente - folded card

Terminei este cartão hoje de manhã. O projeto original baseia-se num tutorial da Valita Reinolds . Eu transformei o cartão que originalmente era retangular em quadrado, adaptei as medidas e alterei um pouco a montagem. Provavelmente ensinarei a minha versão para minhas alunas.

I finished this card this morning. The original design is from Valita Reinolds I changed the retangle card to be a squared ones, adapted the sizes and changed the wait I finished the assembling. Probably I'm going to teach for my students my version of the card.

Centro de Mesa em Vegetal - Ornamental Parchment

Este é um dos meus mais recentes trabalhos em papel vegetal. Pode ser trabalhoso, mas o resultado realmente compensa as horas que fiquei trabalhando nele....
O molde estará disponível para aquisição no meu site a partir de sábado!

This is ones of my latest parchment craft project. The design is my own. It took several hours before I had it finished, but the result really worth the time spent on.
The pattern will be available for sale on my web site next Saturday.

O que é....

Um dos meus pensamentos favoritos, deixados por Gandhy, é este que gosto de colocar como mensagem em alguns dos cartões que faço.

This card I just finished today. It has a text from Gandhy and says that happiness is when what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony.

De volta aos cartões

Eu gostei muito da experiência com o scrapbook. Foi ótimo trabalhar em uma superfície grande (comparativamente aos cartões). Mas confesso que estava mortinha de saudades de fazer um cartão. Esta será uma nova coleção de gráficos de bordados que lançarei em breve. Este é o primeiro que ficou pronto. A imagem central é um carimbo da stamping bella que uma amiga gentilmente carimbou para mim, eu colorí e fiz algumas cópias para usar novamente. Ainda não tenho destes carimbos, mas espero ter alguns em breve...

I liked so much the scrapbooking experience. Was nice to work on a bigger space (if you compare the scrapbook size and the card size...). But I was missing a lot to work on my cards again. So, here is the first ones I just finished. A embroidery graphic I drew and the center image is a stamping bella rubber stamp. I still don't have any of these stamps, but I hope soon I will! This ones a friend was kind to stamp for me. I painted and here is the result. I hope you like.
